Dear Candidate,

We at Apne Aap Women's Collective seek team members who are passionate about ending all forms of violence against women and girls (VAWG), including sex trafficking.

Previous experience working with women and children or with marginalized populations is not required, but candidates must be able to demonstrate an informed and committed interest in the field. In addition, candidates must keep an open mind with regards to the complex intersection of circumstances that bring a woman into prostitution, be empathic and to treat all individuals with respect and dignity, not condescension or pity.

All team members will work in a non-hierarchal, collaborative and hands-on environment with the Director and are expected to demonstrate a high level of initiative and independence. In addition, staff must be adaptable, resourceful and intellectually curious. Fluency in English and Hindi are required, and knowledge of Marathi and/or Bengali is advantageous.
