In March 2017, over 50 NRIs from three continents will embark on a charity bike ride to raise funds for marginalized women & children at Kamathipura in Mumbai. This cycling event will be from 5th March until 7th March 2017. The riders will cover around 350 kms between the Bhuj Mandir to Ahmedabad Mandir. The mandir-2-mandir initiative is taken by AAWC's UK based well-wishers and a group of generous young people.

Apne Aap Women's Collective (AAWC) was awarded the GuideStar India NGO Gold Award (Advanced Level) for 2016. The Award aims to encourage and recognize organizations that practice and voluntarily demonstrate their transparency and accountability in the public domain.

March 2015 was an exciting month at AAWC as we saw the commencement of our pilot project of the Beautician Training Program for the Umeed women.
